Walking Through Grief: One Step at a Time, Together.
A Four Week Therapy Group for Individuals Mourning the Loss of a Loved One
Grief can feel overwhelming, leaving you exhausted, isolated, and unsure of how to move forward. Even when surrounded by others, the pain can feel uniquely your own. This group offers a place to set down some of that weight and be alongside others who truly understand.
Over four weeks, participants will:
Deepen their understanding of grief and mourning
Honour their connection to the person they’ve lost
Explore the stages of grief, including meaning making
Take home ongoing grief resources
Build tools for navigating sudden “grief bursts”
Find validation, healing, and community in a safe space
Led by Sara Brooks, RP, this group provides support for those grieving the loss of a loved one (please note: this group does not cover pet loss or suicide bereavement). Together, we will acknowledge the pain of loss while creating space for hope and healing to take root.
Dates: Thursdays, April 16 – May 7, 2026
Time: 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Cost: $300 total (covered by most extended health insurance plans)
To ensure a good fit, all participants will complete a brief screening call before joining.
