Hosted by Julia Duz, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), this workshop offers practical insights and strategies to effectively manage grief both day-to-day and during the holidays. In this informative workshop, you'll not only deepen your understanding of grief but also acquire the tools needed to navigate this challenging time with confidence. Furthermore, we will explore how grief impacts our wellbeing and provide guidance on maintaining a connection with your loved one, exploring various approaches to your healing journey.
This in-person event is recommended for folks ages 18+ who are experiencing grief due to the death of a loved one.
We do not recommend this workshop for individuals who have experienced non-death-related losses (ex. job loss, relationship loss, loss of identity, etc.) or those who are experiencing anticipatory grief.

Simply put, confidentiality at Exhale Therapy means that the information you share during your session stays between you and your therapist.
The only thing that takes precedence over confidentiality is safety. There are four limits to confidentiality where your counsellor is legally (and ethically) obligated to report to the appropriate authorities:
Spring 2026 · In-Person Grief Therapy Group
A small, therapist-led group for adults carrying loss. Structured enough to feel safe and open enough to feel real. You don't have to hold this alone.
$75 per session. Often reimbursed through extended health benefits.
Facilitated by Sara Brooks, Registered Psychotherapist.
A brief intake call is required to ensure fit and group safety.
