Exhale Therapy, 475 Park St, Kitchener
Free · Only 10 spots available
Maybe it's tight shoulders or a clenched jaw. Maybe it's shallow breathing, a racing heart, or a mind that keeps going long after the day is done.
You've probably tried to think your way out of it. But stress doesn't only live in your thoughts. It settles into your body too, and most of us only notice once it gets loud.
You're not alone in that, and nothing is wrong with you. Somatic practices (somatic simply means "of the body") help you notice sooner and meet what you find with curiosity instead of judgment.
This workshop is for you if
You feel tense or on edge and can't seem to switch off
You've been told to "just relax" and have no idea how
You spend most of the day in your head and want to feel at home in your body again
What you'll leave with
A few simple grounding practices you can use anywhere, in under a minute
A better sense of where stress shows up in your body, and earlier
A calmer 90 minutes in a small, welcoming group
What to expect
No experience is needed, and every exercise is optional. You can participate as much or as little as feels right. Wear something comfortable.
