BROOK JACKSON, MSW, RSW

Hi, I’m brook!

I’m so glad you’re here. I truly believe that finding the right therapist, someone who feels like a good fit, matters deeply. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and my approach to practice. Wherever your therapy journey leads, I wish you care, connection, and meaningful support along the way.

I am a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2004. Prior to completing my MSW, I worked as a Child and Youth Counsellor. My undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and a Diploma in Child and Youth Work from Humber College.

Since beginning my career in social services in 1998, I have worked with children, youth, adults, and families across a variety of settings, including education, healthcare, and children’s mental health. I have extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, grief and loss, separation and divorce, and parenting concerns.

I’m big-hearted, passionate, and human. Like you, I am moving through the seasons of life, striving to feel grounded, balanced, and well, and I’m deeply committed to supporting others in doing the same. I have a particular passion for women’s health and wellness and value supporting women through the many transitions life brings, including pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, work–life balance, living with ADHD, parenting older children, caring for aging parents, and navigating the physical and emotional changes that accompany aging.

I bring an outgoing, warm presence to my work and strive to show up authentically in the therapy space. I focus on building trusting, collaborative relationships and creating a safe, comfortable environment where individuals and families can share their stories openly. I work from a strengths-based perspective and often incorporate humour when it feels supportive and appropriate.

Life brings seasons of growth, challenge, loss, and change, and none of us are meant to navigate those moments alone. I believe individuals and families thrive when they feel supported, understood, and connected. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, encouragement, and steady support as you navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing anxiety, big emotions, life transitions, or parenting struggles, you don’t have to carry it on your own. Together, I believe much is possible!

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time in nature. I’m happiest in the mountains or by the water. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, paddleboarding, boating, swimming.... I love being active outdoors. I love nothing more than curling up with a good book and hot cup of tea (a hug in a mug!) or escaping into a favourite tv series. I love to listen to music, dance as if no one is watching and spend time with my family and friends.
