Hi, I’m Daniel!
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) with a lifelong passion for working in the field of mental health. I have worked in a variety of environments including schools, hospitals, non-profit agencies, and clinical settings.
I am a strong believer in evidence-based practices; as a result, I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and primarily utilize this approach with clients. I recognize that everyone has their own goals in therapy; my role is to help you explore what those goals are and work collaboratively towards achieving them. I often draw on other modalities in order to meet the specific needs of my clients.
I have a particular passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety. I understand how crippling anxiety can be and strive to empower my clients to learn to manage and overcome this difficult condition. I understand that anxiety takes many forms and have familiarity working with individuals struggling with: obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and panic disorder. In addition to anxiety, I have extensive experience working with a variety of mental health conditions including: depression, chronic pain, anger, and more.

My experience has taught me that people are resilient and far more capable than they may think when they are struggling. Together, we can move towards you living a life you find happy and fulfilling.
I like to spend my time off playing guitar, going to the gym, running around with my dog, and watching movies with my awesome wife!
